Well you’ve read them all.  Those horse racing systems that promise the earth, or lots of money at least.  They usually claim to make you rich before you’ve even got your dressing gown on  and drank your hot chocolate.Always bear in mind when reading these adverts and accompanying literature that most of it is absolute garbage and you have as much chance of winning using their horse racing system as you have of “flying to the moon”.  In fact with technology moving at such a fast pace you probably have more chance of doing that.It really is a worry that there are many legitimate horse racing systems out there that are put in the same basket as the rather dodgy ones.  I mean how on earth is anyone supposed to wade through all this information and then decide which one to use. This brief rant on horse racing systems is not meant to terrify you into never considering using one. There are some brilliant horse racing systems out there but I just want you to be aware of the pitfalls and be cautious regarding wild claims.   Always, always do some research, check there is a guarantee and a telephone number, or e-mail address.  At least then if it doesn’t work out you have some form of recourse. In due course I will be adding reviews regarding various horse racing systems.  Watch this space.Horse racing systems do,unfortunately, get some bad press.  There is the opinion that racing systems are too good to be true and if they really worked then we’d all be doing it.  Well thats not quite true because as with lots of things in life a lot of people will buy a system and then give up too easily.Horse racing systems are at the end of the day systems and you have to take the time to fully understand the methodology behind them.  There is no point buying one system after another because you haven’t had instant results within a few days.If you do decide to invest in a racing system please take the time to work out how it works and follow the steps you have been given.  Don’t skip steps because you don’t understand them - go back and re-read them until you do.Lets face it you wouldn’t give up on your new washing machine just because you can’t quite work out how it works. With horse racing systems you should always, always only bet with money you can afford or are prepared to lose and if you think of your racing system as a business investment you will succeed. Most betting enthusiasts will try horse racing system at some point but the problem is the majority of people will skip from one racing system to another without actually giving it a fair go.  This is when you will fail using any racing system.  One of the fundamental points you must always bear in mind if you are really determined to win money betting on horses is that it is not a game or even entertainment.  Unless you want to throw all your hard earned cash down the drain you must develop a business mindset.  You have to train your mind to think of your horse racing system as a way to make income to improve your life and you should not take any stupid risks with it that you wouldn’t take if say you had a retail shop.  So as well as a horse racing system you need a business plan.Yep thats right a business plan.  This will adjust your mindset to the fact that to be successful on betting on horses you must adhere to your plan.  Planning as with any business will help you decide your immediate, medium and long-term goals.  You will also develop a systematic approach to betting on horses and it will help control your cashflow.  Cashflow is the life blood of any business and believe me it is no different in the racing industry. If for example you were running a shop hopefully you would just not buy any old stock or buy more even if you were not selling the existing stock.  You would take a step back and evaluate the situation.  Well to make your horse racing system work the same methodolgy has to appy otherwise you will fail miserably.  Again compare your choice of horse racing system as a business investment, do your research first, check you will be able to understand the system and make it work.  If you don’t do this no racing system on the planet will ever work for you.   Don’t, unless you are super rich, use all your money too quickly - again shops have to build their stock levels over a period of time.  Shops test the water and the market first and when they find out what sells in their area etc and they are starting to make money then they invest. NOT the other way round.   If you can follow these simple steps and run your horse racing system as a business and not a hobby or form of entertainment then you will succeed using horse racing systems.Equestrian Showjumping - Some Facts.    One of my favourite “horse related sports” has to be equestrian.  I became interested in this years ago whilst watching Princess Anne, HRH of Great Britain competing.  It was only when I did some further research did I realise this particular sport has been around for approximately 2,000 years.  It was introduced by the Greeks as part of their preparation for their war horses.Initially equestrian sport continued as a military training exercise which now included three day events comprising of Show Jumping,Cross Country and Dressage.   These events were set up to test the endurance of the war horses. The Olympic Games, in 1921, started to include Equestrian Events as part of its line up and its popularity started to soar.Equestrian showjumping was really brought to the media’s attention when Princess Anne became one of its best competitors.  Princess Anne is the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip the reigning monarchs of Great Britain.  Princess Anne was born on the 15th August 1950 and is tenth in line to the throne.Another member of the Royal Family who has excelled at equestrian showjumping is Mark Phillips, the former husband of Princess Anne.  Mark Phillips was born in 1948 and in 1971 and 1972 won the Badminton Horse Trials.  He then went onto be part of the team that won gold for Great Britain in Munich in 1972.  Mark Phillips is the father of another famous equestrian showjumper, Zara Phillips.   The cross country course at Red Hills Horse Trials was designed by him and used as a qualifying event for the olympics.15th May 1981 is the date of birth of Zara Phillips who was to become one of the most famous and outstanding horsewomen of all times.  Zara is the daughter of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips and grandaughter to Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.  Her equestrian skills are really unsurpassed and she won an individual gold medal on her horse Toytown at the World Equestrian Event in Germany.  She also helped secure a silver medal for the British Team.  Zara was honoured with an MBE in 2007 for her services to the equestrian sport. The equestrian events comprise of equestrian showjumping, dressage and cross country. No mean feat I can assure you.  They make it look so easy on the television.   Cross country tests the jumping, bravery, speed and stamina of the horse.  Dressage the control in walking, trotting and cantering.  Showjumping reveals control, accuracy and athleticism.  The competitor with the least penalties over the course of the event will be the winner.
